On Saturday, November 21, 2026, the “14th Schweinfurt Trash Movie Award” will take place at the Stattbahnhof Schweinfurt, located at Alte Bahnhofstraße 8–12. The event begins at 8:00 p.m. As part of this competition, the award for the best self-produced trash film will be presented. The call for entries is open to all amateur directors and producers who have created their own work of trash culture. The submitted films will be screened and awarded prizes that evening. The Stattbahnhof thus offers a platform for creative and unconventional film projects outside the mainstream cinema scene.
