The traveling exhibition “What Should I Wear? Lower Franconia Between Trends and Tradition” by the Lower Franconian Cultural Foundation explores forms of expression through textiles, both past and present. It opens on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at Marktplatz 20 in Gerolzhofen, 97447 Schweinfurt. The exhibition features historical and contemporary garments as well as works by regional fashion designers. It explores how clothing serves as an expression of identity, prosperity, and attitude, and encourages reflection on sustainability. Admission is 3.50 euros for adults, 3.00 euros for seniors and students, and 2.00 euros for schoolchildren. Children six and under are admitted free of charge. The museum is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and on Sundays and holidays from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
