The traveling exhibition “WHAT SHOULD I WEAR? Lower Franconia Between Trends and Tradition” by the Lower Franconian Cultural Foundation explores the significance of clothing throughout history and in the present day. Clothing serves not only as protection but also conveys identity, prosperity, and a sense of belonging. The exhibition highlights what people in Lower Franconia wore and wear today, and for what reasons. Regional fashion designers and historical exhibits illustrate textile trends and developments. The exhibition encourages visitors to reflect on their own preferences as well as the topic of sustainability. The exhibition will be on view on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, starting at 9:00 a.m. at Marktplatz 20 in Gerolzhofen (97447 Schweinfurt).
