The traveling exhibition “What Should I Wear? Lower Franconia Between Trends and Tradition” by the Lower Franconian Cultural Foundation explores forms of expression through textiles, both past and present. On Saturday, June 20, 2026, the exhibition opens at 9:00 a.m. in Gerolzhofen, Marktplatz 20, 97447 Schweinfurt. The exhibition shows how clothing communicates personality, identity, and a sense of belonging. It explores what people in Lower Franconia wore and wear today—and why. In addition to historical exhibits, regional fashion designers will present their work to bridge trends and history. Visitors are invited to reflect on their own preferences and the topic of sustainability. Admission is 3.50 euros for adults, 3.00 euros for seniors and students, and 2.00 euros for schoolchildren. Children six and under are admitted free of charge.
