The traveling exhibition “What Should I Wear? Lower Franconia Between Trends and Tradition” by the Lower Franconian Cultural Foundation explores forms of expression through textiles, both past and present. On Tuesday, June 30, 2026, the exhibition opens at 9:00 a.m. at Marktplatz 20 in Gerolzhofen (97447 Schweinfurt). The exhibition highlights what people in the region wore and wear today, and the role clothing plays in identity, status, and sustainability. On display are historical artifacts as well as works by regional fashion designers. Admission is 3.50 euros for adults, 3.00 euros (reduced rate) for seniors and students, and 2.00 euros for schoolchildren. Children six and under are admitted free. Regular opening hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and on Sundays and holidays from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
