At the Picture Book Cinema featuring “Ella, die schlaue Kuh” by Marc-Uwe Kling and Astrid Henn, the story is read aloud while the illustrations are projected large onto a screen. The event is for children ages 4 and up.
At animal school, bears explain the world to the other animals. Ella, a clever cow, wants to become an explainer bear herself and share what she knows. But her classmates don’t believe in her because cows are considered stupid. Ella won’t let that discourage her and wants to show what she can do. Children can join in during the reading, laugh along, and ask questions.
The Picture Book Cinema takes place on Sunday, April 4, 2027, at 3 p.m. at Disharmonie, Gutermann-Promenade 7 in Schweinfurt.
