The picture book theater show “Die kleine Eule feiert Weihnachten” tells the story of an owl who is supposed to move out of her familiar nest before the holiday. She does not want to leave her friends and eventually flies away. Her mother sets out to find her. Whether she finds the little owl again, and whether the owl has thought of a Christmas gift for her loved ones, is revealed as the story unfolds.
The familiar characters from the book come to life in front of an open picture book. Storytelling and acting combine with colorful characters and funny rhymes that invite children to join in. The show is suitable for children ages 3 and up and lasts about 50 minutes.
The performance begins on Thursday, November 12, 2026, at 4 p.m. at Pfarrer-Hersam-Haus, Salzstraße 13, in Gerolzhofen. Tickets are available at the door, which opens 30 minutes before the performance. Admission is 11 euros; children with a discount voucher pay 10 euros.
