The “FarbenSpiel” exhibition will be on view on Sunday, September 13, 2026, starting at 8:00 a.m. at the Augustinum Schweinfurt, located at Ludwigstraße 16. On display will be works of art from an inclusive collaborative project between the Cultural Office of Lebenshilfe Wohnstätten Mainfranken, led by Antje Arlt, and Würzburg-based artist Philipp Rau.
As part of a series of workshops, residents aged 30 to 65 repurposed disused musical instruments. A total of 15 objects, including guitars, saxophones, and drums, were transformed into vivid, three-dimensional works of art using the abstract pouring technique. The works fall under the category of outsider art, which is characterized by a free style of creation that defies academic conventions.
