DESCRIPTION:The inclusive art exhibition “FarbenSpiel” at the Augustinum in Schweinfurt (Ludwigstraße 16) showcases the results of a creative collaboration between the cultural office of Lebenshilfe Wohnstätten Mainfranken and Würzburg-based artist Philipp Rau. On Saturday\, September 19\, 2026\, the exhibition will open its doors to visitors at 8:00 a.m. \n\nAt the heart of the project are 15 disused musical instruments—including guitars\, saxophones\, and drums—that have been artistically transformed by residents of Lebenshilfe between the ages of 30 and 65. Under the guidance of Philipp Rau\, the artists used the “Abstract Pouring” technique—a special acrylic pouring method. Through the deliberate pouring and intermingling of colors\, they created three-dimensional works of art in the style of Outsider Art\, characterized by a design free from academic conventions.
