In his fifth solo program, Friedemann Weise takes on the question of why satire should live on. The Cologne-based writer, satirist, and musical comedian combines satirical scenes with guitar, a screen, and his “human mini-clone,” Friedemännchen. The program plays with quotations and wordplay and raises the question of whether satire is allowed to do anything—and whether that means it is allowed to die, too.
Weise is an award-winning cabaret artist and has been a regular member of the “heute-show” ensemble since 2019. His radio comedy “History hautnah” airs weekly on WDR 2; his mini radio plays can also be heard on “Satire deluxe” on WDR 5. As a writer, he works for “heute-show,” “extra3,” “Titanic” magazine, and “KROYMANN,” among others.
The comedy night starts on Thursday, March 18, 2027, at 7:30 p.m. at Disharmonie, Gutermann-Promenade 7, 97421 Schweinfurt.
