The Heckenwirtschaft “Hecke um die Ecke” serves Franconian specialties, regional ingredients, and house wines. It is open on the weekends of November 6–8 and 13–15, 2026: Fridays and Saturdays from 5 p.m., and Sundays from 12 p.m., at Weingut Baumann, Handthal 30, 97516 Oberschwarzach. The menu features smoked trout and a selection of cold platters made with locally sourced ingredients. Guests are served in the winery’s converted wine barn. The focus is on regional produce and Franconian cuisine paired with the winery’s wines. The emphasis is on enjoying local food and drink.
