A highly dynamic trio that blends modern jazz with groove, openness, and electrifying live energy.
Following their internationally acclaimed debut, *Molecular Soul* (winner of the 2017 New German Jazz Prize, among other accolades), the Philipp Brämswig Trio presents its second album, *Catalyst*—once again featuring exclusively original compositions by the bandleader.
The trio from the Cologne scene blends modern jazz with atmospheric soundscapes, rock-inspired energy, and lyrical melodies. Through the equal interplay of guitar, electric bass, and drums, dynamic sonic spaces emerge in which groove, intellect, and improvisational freedom seamlessly intertwine. An intense live experience that balances subtle interaction with a powerful presence.
