On Sunday, August 16, 2026, the event “Art for Children: A Journey of Discovery at the Museum” will take place at the Georg Schäfer Museum in Schweinfurt. The event begins at 2:30 p.m. on Level 3 and in the museum education room at Brückenstraße 20. Under the guidance of Gudrun Polreich, the participating children will examine depictions of people, animals, and landscapes in the paintings on display. Afterward, they will transform the impressions they’ve gained into their own creative works of art. The participation fee is 5 euros per person.
