In his program “langsam,” Matthias Egersdörfer explores the breakneck pace of everyday life: fast conversations, the bustle of the streets, and news reports of disasters coming in rapid succession. Drawing on his experiences in a restaurant kitchen, the comedian talks about his own slowness when chopping, thinking, and speaking. The program itself, too, came together word by word and sentence by sentence.
The evening offers a leisurely storytelling style as a counterpoint to the acceleration of life. Egersdörfer recounts his observations and stories without picking up the pace, while also leaving room for his anger about everyday things. The comedy show takes place on Saturday, May 22, 2027, at 7:30 p.m. at Disharmonie, Gutermann-Promenade 7 in Schweinfurt.
