In his comedy show, Michael Altinger explores modern ideas of masculinity and the call for old certainties. Between nonalcoholic beer, yoga, homemade sourdough bread, and the promise of a fairer future, the present seems to lose its rhythm: The state of the world seems to be calling once again for gas-powered cars, con artists, and old truths in new media. But who is supposed to protect us from them—and do we really need new protectors for that? Instead, Altinger turns his attention to testosterone, both the cause and a possible solution. According to him, there isn’t much of it left: Altinger has it, in a cup—the last one. The show takes place on Friday, June 4, 2027, at 7:30 p.m. at Disharmonie, Gutermann-Promenade 7, 97421 Schweinfurt.
