On Saturday, June 27, 2026, the traditional Plankirchweih festival in Röthlein, located at Friedhofstraße 36 in 97520 Schweinfurt, begins at 6:00 p.m. The three-day festival kicks off with the Planburschen erecting the festival tree, followed by the festivities. Musical entertainment begins at 7:30 p.m. with the band “Die Stammheimer,” followed by the opening of the PlanBar at 8:00 p.m. On Sunday, June 28, following a church service, the program will continue with a luncheon, live music by the Hirschfeld Music Association, and the ceremonial procession of the Plan couples at 2:30 p.m. On Monday, starting at 4:00 p.m., the festivities will feature coffee, cake, and hearty meals. The event combines Franconian traditions, music, and dance for all age groups.
