On Monday, September 21, 2026, the “Cigarette Butt-Free Old Town” cleanup will take place in Gerolzhofen. All volunteers should meet at 4:30 p.m. in the Spitalgarten. The cleanup is part of World Cleanup Day and is expected to last until 6:00 p.m. The goal of the event is to collect as many discarded cigarette butts as possible in the Old Town area and then dispose of them properly. Participants are asked to bring their own gloves for the cleanup.
