The 47th Oberschwarzach Castle Wine Festival will take place on Saturday, July 4, 2026, starting at 5:00 p.m. in the historic setting at Kirchberg 11 in Oberschwarzach. The festival weekend in front of the castle will be officially opened on Saturday evening at 7:00 p.m. by the market town’s wine princess, Lorena Kraiß, along with other regional wine queens and guests of honor.
The Steigerwaldkapelle will provide musical entertainment starting at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. The program continues on the following days: On Sunday, “Babb Süaß” will play traditional pub music starting at 5:00 p.m., while a three-piece band will perform on Monday evening. Selected wines from local vineyards will be served, complemented by a selection of regional dishes. On Monday evening, Schäufele from the castle oven will also be available by advance order.
