On Sunday, June 21, 2026, the “Traditional Costumes & Dance in Franconia” event will take place at the Franconian Open-Air Museum in Fladungen, starting at 10:00 a.m. In collaboration with the Traditional Costume Advisory Board of the District of Lower Franconia, the event will feature a program centered on folk music and traditional clothing. In addition to a traditional costume fashion show at 11:00 a.m. and dance performances in the afternoon, the historic wedding procession of the County of Wertheim, starting at 12:30 p.m., will be a central highlight. The event will feature a demonstration of how the bride is dressed according to historical tradition. Craft demonstrations, a historical cooking program, and a baking day round out the event. Regular admission to the museum is 8 euros; reduced admission is 7 euros.
