In the live multimedia presentation “Namibia & Botswana – Echoes of Creation,” Katja and Beppo Niedermeier take the audience to southern Africa, where, according to new research, modern humans originated. The journey leads from Hartmannstal across the dunes of Sossusvlei and Deadvlei to the waterholes of Nxai Pan, Savuti, and the Okavango Delta, to desert elephants, the Skeleton Coast, and the San people. The evening is part of the lecture series “The World in Pictures” and begins on Friday, February 26, 2027, at 7:30 p.m. at Kulturhalle Grafenrheinfeld, Hermasweg 1a.
