On Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at 7:00 p.m., the literary journey “Where the Hares Hate Pants” will take place at the FastnachtMuseum in Kitzingen. To mark Rivers Day, Hans Driesel will guide the audience along the Main River from Ochsenkopf to Frankfurt. He will read and recite works by classical authors such as Goethe, Jean Paul, Kleist, and Rückert, as well as by contemporary writers who explore the river and its people. Stories such as the one about Albrecht Dürer’s “Rentenreise” complement the literary reflections. Admission is 12.00 euros. Reservations are requested at info@deutsches-fastnachtmuseum.de or by phone at 09321 23355.
