On Saturday, September 12, 2026, the Schweinfurt weekly market will take place starting at 8:00 a.m. on the market square in Schweinfurt. In front of the historic town hall, regional producers will offer freshly harvested fruits, vegetables, flowers, as well as spices and medicinal herbs. Vegetable and herb cultivation in the region dates back over 300 years. More than 40 different types of vegetables and over 50 varieties of herbs are grown within a six-kilometer radius of the city and sold directly at the market after a short journey. Here, consumers can purchase fresh, unpackaged products straight from the neighborhood.
