Brilliant voices, melancholic lyrics, and memorable music on June 20 at Fillders Green in Schweinfurt. Free admission! If you want to kick off the midsummer nights with brilliant voices, melancholic lyrics, and music, come to Fillders Green in Schweinfurt on June 20. There, Crusty Pete and Painting Humans will perform an “unplugged-plugged” concert featuring fine alternative rock. Crusty Pete plays acoustic classics from nearly every genre, following the motto “From country to pop, four strings and a shot.” Four strings? Yes, Crusty Pete plays the tenor guitar and always looks forward to introducing his instrument to the audience. Painting Humans make the ground shake with heavy, stoner- and alternative-inspired songs. Fuzz and distortion alternate with hypnotic soundscapes, laying a foundation upon which an expressive voice rises. The vocals sing of memories flooding back, loneliness, guilt, and the race against time. The songs evoke atmospheric imagery and invite listeners to let the arrangements carry them away to barren deserts and dark lands.
