From October 1 to 28, 2026, the “Galerie im Treppenhaus” in Schweinfurt will host the exhibition “Hope in Darkness – Images of Freedom.” The project is being organized in cooperation with FIDA e.V. Germany. The exhibition features 30 paintings by young Afghan women artists who explore the themes of freedom, courage, and hope in the face of oppression.
On Friday, October 2, 2026, the exhibition will open its doors to visitors at 8:00 a.m. at the +plus.punkt Dean’s Office in Schweinfurt, located at Schultesstraße 21. No advance registration is required for this cultural event. Admission to the exhibition is free, and barrier-free access to the venue is guaranteed.
