Moving Portraits of Schweinfurt Personalities: Veronika Gebhardt captures genuine emotions in vibrantly colored portraits. An exhibition for a good cause.
From November 7 to 15, 2026, Veronika Gebhardt will present her portrait series *Faces of Schweinfurt: Fragment of Myself* in the exhibition hall of the Old City Hall in Schweinfurt. The exhibition features Schweinfurt personalities such as Andrea Schärringer, Ralf Hofmann, and Rolf Sachs, as well as fascinating private individuals, all rendered in bold colors. The exhibition is entirely dedicated to charity: The net proceeds will benefit the Zonta Club.
At the heart of the exhibition are portraits of people from Gebhardt’s past and from the city. The artist engaged with her subjects in profound conversations filled with openness and vulnerability, transforming these moments into vivid, multi-layered, and deeply moving works. Veronika Gebhardt brings authentic emotions to the canvas.
Opening Reception and Accompanying Program
The opening reception will take place on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. Live music, exquisite wine and beer specialties, and fine culinary delights will provide the perfect setting.
Those who wish to delve deeper into the background of the exhibition will have the opportunity to do so at the Artist Talk on Thursday, November 12, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. Veronika Gebhardt will offer personal insights into her creative process and share anecdotes from her studio.
