The exhibition “Faces with a Story” explores the themes of origin, home, and living together. On display are 33 black-and-white portraits of people—some with refugee backgrounds and some without—who live in the Haßberg district today. QR codes next to the images link to personal audio interviews. In these interviews, the subjects talk about their flight and arrival, family, careers, language, and a sense of belonging, as well as friendships, hobbies, and everyday life.
The exhibition invites visitors to get to know the people behind the portraits and to reflect on their own ideas of home and community. It will be on view on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. at the Christuskirche Schweinfurt, Maibacher Straße 50, 97421 Schweinfurt.
