The year hasn’t even really started yet, and we’re already having to write a preview for the upcoming year-in-review. A review in which we’ll look back on things that haven’t even happened yet—and that you, too, might not even want to remember. By the end of the year, many important people will likely have said something—maybe even Olaf Scholz—and there will have been plenty of elections. Some things will be won, some lost; many things will be explained, and some will be glossed over. But one thing we can promise you right now is
we’ll pull out all the stops in our BILANZ 2024! There will be singing—in the highest of tones, in one, two—oh, who knows, maybe even five-part harmony! There will be spectacular scenes and solos that really pack a punch! You’ll be doubled over with laughter, and who knows—maybe you’ll even pause to reflect for a moment. If the year 2024 has already taken everything from you—we’ll finish you off. BILANZ 2024 means where men meet women—in other words, sensitivity meets muscle. It’s hip-hop meeting chanson, yin meeting yang, Labskaus meeting Spätzle.
With plenty of experience in looking back, we—Georg Koeniger (TBC) and Birgit Süß (Inventur)—are taking stock together for the first time—and even the dumbest year suddenly becomes fun again.
