At Haus Sonnenuntergang, the senior living facility run by geriatric nurse Sybille Bullatschek, all hell breaks loose again during the Christmas season. While others are still worrying about where to get their gifts by Christmas Eve, Sybille has entirely different problems: What do you do when the 94-year-old Baby Jesus can’t get out of the manger without help? Or when the aging shepherds forget their lines during the nativity play and start improvising on the spot? And what do you do when the homemade cinnamon stars get stuck in their dentures?
The Christmas chaos at Haus Sonnenuntergang takes its course, and just when Sybille thinks she finally has everything under control, her colleague Evelyn and a few seniors get drunk on mulled wine. The paramedics who are called in have their hands full with the seniors who’ve gone wild, and Sybille once again has to save her boss, Mr. Otterle, from a nervous breakdown.
Get in the spirit for the most wonderful holiday of the year with Sybille and her turbulent anecdotes from Haus Sonnenuntergang. Experience funny and touching stories about Mr. Kämmerer, Ms. Spielmann, and Ms. Häfele, and wrap things up by belting out a well-known Christmas carol with the “Nurse of Hearts.” The best gifts can’t be bought—but you can experience them live.
