A special intergenerational exhibition opens its doors in October at the Gadengalerie in Geldersheim. Under the title “Here at Home and Elsewhere,” a grandfather and his grandson are exhibiting together: Alfons Pfeuffer of Geldersheim and his grandson Maximilian Stengel invite visitors to a visual dialogue between home and distant places.
The exhibition features an exciting combination of different disciplines. Alfons Pfeuffer presents a selection of his photographic snapshots as well as delicate drawings. Maximilian Stengel focuses entirely on the medium of photography and contributes his own modern perspectives. Together, the two amateur artists capture moments right on their own doorstep and from around the world.
The opening reception will take place on Friday, October 2, 2026, at 7:30 p.m. Visitors will have the opportunity to speak with the artist duo in person. The exhibition will then be on view from October 4 through November 1, 2026, every Sunday from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Admission is free.
