A two-hour guided tour of the Sachs exhibition at ZF Friedrichshafen AG, located at Ernst-Sachs-Straße 62 in Schweinfurt, explores the history of the long-established Sachs company. On Saturday, October 3, 2026, the tour begins at 4:00 p.m. in a former production hall.
The exhibition showcases historic inventions that have significantly shaped the development of transportation. These include, among others, the well-known two-stroke engine of the Saxonette, race car engines, and various bicycle hubs and drive components. The tour also highlights the work of company founder Ernst Sachs, whose technical innovations are still used in modern machinery today.
Since the museum is located on active factory grounds, security regulations require that contact information be provided when purchasing tickets. Tickets are available for 10.00 euros in the online shop or in advance at the Schweinfurt Tourist Information Office.
