On Saturday, September 12, 2026, Family Day will take place starting at 2:00 p.m. as part of the Gochsheim Church Fair. The event will be held at Gochsheimer Plan, Am Plan 4-6 in 97469 Schweinfurt. This traditional peace festival commemorates the peace treaty that ended the Thirty Years’ War and the restoration of imperial freedom in 1649. While the historic “Plantanz,” which has been listed in Bavaria’s State Register of Intangible Cultural Heritage since 2016, is a central part of the festival, it will not be performed on Family Day. Instead, a concert is on the program for that day.
