At the JazzAmMittwoch concert on Wednesday, March 17, 2027, at 7:30 p.m., Jonas Sorgenfrei and his band will perform at Disharmonie at Gutermann-Promenade 7 in Schweinfurt. The music combines nimble arrangements with a variety of tonal colors. Saxophonist Florian Trübsbach shapes it with a lyrical tone. Pianist Rainer Böhm and guitarist Philipp Brämswig create a layered harmonic texture through their interplay, while bassist Matthias Akeo Nowak provides the connective foundation. The title track from Sorgenfrei’s debut CD is also part of the program: in it, the musician seems to make majestic pachyderms float through the room, connecting the image with a dreamlike sense of timelessness.
