The Turngemeinde Schweinfurt is hosting a senior sports festival on Saturday, July 4, 2026, starting at 10:00 a.m. at its club grounds at Lindenbrunnenweg 51 in Schweinfurt. The event is open to anyone aged 60 and older; club membership is not required. In case of inclement weather, the event will be moved to Hall E. Admission is free.
The focus is on enjoying physical activity without the pressure of competition. Participants can try out various disciplines such as 100- and 400-meter race walking, the long throw, and goal shooting. The goal is to be active together and get to know the club, which is increasingly focusing on health-oriented programs for older adults. Refreshments—including coffee, cake, and beverages—will be provided.
