On Friday, October 2, 2026, the Intercultural Weeks will kick off at City Hall in Schweinfurt. The series of events, which has been promoting dialogue and combating exclusion since 1975, will run through November 2, 2026. The program is organized by the City of Schweinfurt’s Integration Office in cooperation with the City of Schweinfurt’s Partnership for Democracy as part of the federal program “Demokratie leben!” (Live Democracy!). The goal of the initiative is to strengthen social cohesion and promote dialogue. Under the motto “We’re for it!”, the focus is on human rights, respect, and coexistence free of prejudice. Numerous local associations, initiatives, institutions, and volunteers are helping to shape the diverse program, which brings together different cultures and perspectives in Schweinfurt and provides a space for exchange.
