On Sunday, September 13, 2026, at 2:30 p.m., a historical walking tour will take place in Gerolzhofen as part of National Heritage Day. The tour, titled “Tower Guards, Gates, and Traditions,” is organized by the Gerolzhofen Historical Society. Tour guide Erich Servatius will lead the walk through the old town, which is known for its city towers and two rings of city walls. Along the way, he will share interesting facts about the town’s history and traditions. The meeting point for the free guided tour is the Floriansbrunnen fountain in Gerolzhofen, located at Rügshöfer Straße 1, 97447 Schweinfurt. Advance registration with the Tourist Information Office is required.
