As part of European Mobility Week, a climate walk to the Tyczka hydrogen refueling station in the Schweinfurt harbor will take place on Monday, September 21, 2026. The event begins at 5:00 p.m. on-site at Hafenstraße 22.
During this tour, the operator will provide information about the facility and demonstrate how a hydrogen vehicle is refueled. In addition, the future development of the refueling station will be explained: While climate-neutral hydrogen is currently still being delivered, electrolyzers currently under construction are intended to produce the fuel directly in Schweinfurt using renewable electricity in the future.
Since there are no parking spaces available on site and public parking options in the surrounding area are very limited, traveling by bicycle is recommended. Participation is limited, so advance registration is required via email at klimaschutz@schweinfurt.de or by phone at 09721-513457.
