During the guided tour of Schweinfurt’s Old Town, Peter, a young winemaker dressed in a traditional cooper’s smock, takes visitors on a journey through the history of local viticulture. The tour highlights the historical development of winemaking in the region and answers questions about the current situation of winemakers in the city. In addition to historical facts, the tour focuses on amusing anecdotes. At the end, a glass of Franconian wine (0.1 l) will be served at PINOT. To ensure clear audio, a mobile audio system with receivers and earbuds will be used during the tour. Hearing aid users can request induction loops in advance.
The 90-minute event begins on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. The meeting point is the Rückert Monument on Schweinfurt’s market square. Participation costs 12.00 euros, including wine. Tickets are available in advance through the online shop or directly at the Schweinfurt Tourist Information Office before the tour begins.
